University in Michigan banishes the word 'bae'

Bae, 2015 is going to be cra-cra. Or not.


Lake Superior State University in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan released its annual list of banished words on Thursday, kicking "bae," "swag" and "skill set" back into 2014. Each year since 1976, the college has published the "List of Words Banished from the Queen’s English for Mis-use, Over-use and General Uselessness."



Word snobs can submit their nominations on the college's website all year long. A committee then sifts through the slang and nonsense to select finalists
