NFL highlights will finally be coming to YouTube

Google and the NFL have reached an agreement that will bring football videos to YouTube and open the door to greater integration with the league


The deal brings clips from the NFL — one of the most searched-for sports leagues — to the Internet's most popular video platform. Details of the arrangement were not disclosed, but it includes a revenue split based on ads sold by Google.



The NFL and its teams are incredibly valuable, as is its video contentForbes placed the average value of an NFL franchise at $1.43 billion, easily outpacing the other professional leagues.
