Kiwis are wary of tourists driving in New Zealand, according to a new survey.
About three-quarters of those polled in the survey were in favor of tests for foreign drivers, or even a ban on rentals to tourists who had just arrived after a long flight.
About a third, 33.6%, of the 750 respondents said that foreigners who drive on the right in their home country should have to take a test before driving in New Zealand, where drivers stay on the left.
