General Motors is about to roll out a sweet new feature to its OnStar system.
The car manufacturer is preparing to launch AtYourService, a program that will bring discounts and information on nearby businesses to its OnStar subscription service. GM has already struck deals with Dunkin' Donuts and travel booking site Priceline.com, the latter of which will allow users to book hotels while on the move
“We were seeing a growing segment of our business, with Priceline users making same-day reservations for hotels while driving in their cars,” said Randy Schartner, president of The Priceline Partner Network, in a press release. “Making Priceline hotels available to drivers through OnStar in a safe and secure way is great way for Priceline consumers and GM drivers to become one and the same.” Read more...
