How Fossil Group and high-end designers will take on smartwatch market in 2015

LAS VEGAS — When the Fossil Group announced a partnership with Intel and Google, it validated over a year of rumors that the high-end company was working on its own smartwatch


It also meant the company — which designs, manufacturers and sells watches and jewelry for brands like Michael Kors, Armani, Diesel, adidas, Karl Lagerfeld, Tory Burch and Fossil — could introduce a truly fashionable take on the often-clunky wearable market. The devices not only have the potential to dominate the fashion runway, but they will be something we will want to wear and actually leave on
