Today is a national day of mourning
At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a tram carrying up to 30 people and a truck carrying beer collided in the Melbourne suburb of Parkville. It left 50 kegs of beer from Carlton & United Breweries strewn across the road and footpath in the terrible tragedy.
"Paramedics arrived to find the tram extensively damaged and beer kegs from the truck strewn across the road," Paramedic Craig Cain told ABC News , as Australians shed a collective tear
