Photographer dresses up his dogs for the most adorable Christmas cards ever

British photographer Peter Thorpe found the perfect inspiration for his Christmas cards: his dogs


In 1990, he began dressing up his household pups, starting with his terrier, Paddy, as reindeer, Ebeneezer Scrooge, tree angels and all kinds of Christmas-inspired characters.



"Paddy was quite grumpy so the fact he would happily sit within a set dressed in a silly outfit was amusing," said Thorpe to Mashable. Paddy was Thorpe's first dog to appear in the series, wearing a bright red nose as Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
