After weeks of speculation, the San Francisco 49ers have officially parted ways with head coach Jim Harbaugh, who has reportedly landed a coaching job at his alma mater, University of Michigan.
That's Jim Harbaugh, not John Harbaugh. John is Jim's older brother, who is still the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. But if you mixed up the two brothers, you wouldn't be the first to do so.
The Detroit Free Press ran a front-page teaser on Monday for an article about Harbaugh's new gig, featuring a photograph of John instead of Jim. One would think the Ravens cap that John is sporting in the photo would have been a dead giveaway. Read more...
