Microsoft will attempt to bridge the gap between gamers on Windows PC and Xbox One by adding an Xbox app to all copies of Windows 10 on its release.
The Xbox app on Windows 10 will allow gamers to play online with other users across different devices, stream Xbox One games to their Windows 10 PC or tablet and keep track of their friends across multiple platforms. Microsoft made the announcement during its Windows 10 Consumer event in Redmond, Washington, on Wednesday.
The Xbox app will allow gamers to stream games from the Xbox One to any tablet or PC running Windows 10. Xbox head Phil Spencer demonstrated this onstage by playing Forza Horizon 2 from his PC, even though the title is an Xbox exclusive. Read more...
