A new Facebook-esque feature is making its way into your Twitter app
"While you were away" highlights tweets from your timeline that you may have missed while not using the app, possibly factoring in number of retweets and favorites a particular tweet received, along with other user habits. When you wake up in the morning, for example, Twitter might display tweets from people you follow from eight hours ago, rather than what was just tweeted minutes ago.
Twitter announced the feature in November, but more users have recently started to notice it. Read more...
