Cautious optimism is growing that the federal government's top communications regulator will vote on new regulations that would cheer net neutrality advocates. Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler spoke at CES in Las Vegas on Wednesday, where he hinted that the regulator would vote on rules that have been championed by net neutrality advocates.
