PARK CITY, Utah — There is no greater fool's errand in entertainment journalism than trying to divine what will pop at the Sundance Film Festival, and that's what makes it special: Sundance is a discovery ground for great (and also some truly awful) indie films that you come in knowing nothing about.
But that doesn't stop us from attempting annual "most anticipated" lists, in part to help plan which of the more than 120 films to see. There's precious little evidence to go on: a log line, the cast, the director and a photo, but without trailers or pre-screenings it really is throwing darts in a blizzard. Read more...
