Subway singer quiets homophobic preacher with Willy Wonka

On a crowded train, passengers try to be respectful to the other straphangers riding along. Unfortunately, one New York preacher didn't get the memo, and proceeded to go off on a homophobic rant on a busy subway car.



Rob Maiale, a copywriter and voice actor from Brooklyn, was standing right next to the preacher when he'd heard enough, and started belting out the song "Golden Ticket" from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to drown out all the hateful words.
