About 15 years ago, an old basketball coach of mine went around asking us players what we wanted to be when we grew up. One teammate's answer has stuck with me since. This kid was one of the better players, and more importantly he was cool — that trump currency that rules all at a certain age. Just the type to boast he was NBA-bound, or at least Duke or North Carolina-bound. But no — he said he wanted to be a SportsCenter anchor, "like Stuart Scott." Read more...
