Just two weeks into its freshman season, Fox's Empire has been renewed for another season
Also renewed is freshman drama Gotham, which entered as one of the most-anticipated series of the new TV season, and is one of the top-performing newbies.
Empire, meanwhile, tied ABC's How to Get Away With Murder as the biggest series premiere of the 2014-15 season in overnight ratings. It is also the most-viewed series opener on the Fox Now app, according to the network
