Nothing to see here, just a baby sleeping in the mouth of a monstrous shark

This baby is going to need a bigger crib.


Sculptor Joseph Reginella built a bed for his the newborn son of his friend Mark Melaccio. The Staten Island artist, a longtime fan of the movie Jaws, saw Michael's birth as the perfect occasion to create the perfect tribute to his favorite film.




The little guy had to wait until he was two months old to sleep safely in the crib, but now he can slip off to dream land, his cries soothed by visions of shark teeth and Richard Dreyfuss.


Despite an uneasy start, Michael has started to feel safe and comfy in the jaws of the Great White. He didn't even need to use a harpoon. Read more...
