'Borderlands' next-gen update comes with functional Claptrap for $399

The last two Borderlands games are getting a next-gen remaster in March, along with limited-edition, remote-controlled Claptrap robot that might have some fans emptying out their wallets.


Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, bringing 2011's Borderlands 2, last year's Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the bundled downloadable content for $59.99.



But for a whopping $399, fans can get the games and the remote-controlled Claptrap, the sassy, foul-mouthed robot who has become a series favorite. Gearbox Chief Creative Officer Brian Martell said building it had always been a dream of the company, but they didn't think it was possible.
