Interpol on Monday issued an international red notice for Viktor Yanukovych, nearly one year after the former Ukrainian president fled to Russia following a failed and violent attempt by his security forces to quash anti-government protesters' three-month revolution on Kiev's Independence Square
The international police agency said the disgraced ex-leader is wanted on charges of “misappropriation, embezzlement or conversion of property by malversation, if committed in respect of an especially gross amount, or by an organized group.”
