French theme park will use 50 drones for a nighttime spectacle

France's second-biggest theme park, Puy du Fou, is enlisting 50 drones to keep guests entertained by incorporating them into its Cinéscénie nighttime show.



The show is already an over-the-top spectacle, involving 1,200 actors and dancers on a 2,500 square-foot stage, wearing more than 24,000 costumes. Now beginning in April, Cinéscénie will also include 50 drones.


“The team was searching for a way to incorporate new heights to Cinéscénie," Puy du Fou president Nicolas de Villiers said in an emailed statement"We wanted to create the biggest chandelier in the world in the sky." Read more...
