Script to screen, the Tina Fey-produced Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has had quite the journey
Originally developed for NBC, Netflix ended up taking on the series when it became clear the broadcast network wouldn't have a good spot on its schedule for the comedy

"It all sort of happened within a matter of days, and because the show is made by NBC, it's in NBC's best interests for the show to have its best home," Fey told reporters earlier this month.
