That “stupid sensor” went off a couple more times during our brief ride and, as promised, the diver ignored it. But what if he couldn’t? What if the car was fully in control, totally autonomous?
Ever since I arrived at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, I’ve been thinking about our driverless-car future. I rode a self-driving car around the streets of Las Vegas. It was an awesomely weird experience. I talked to Ford CEO Mark Fields about it.
