Comedy 'shouldn't be an act of courage': Conan and Jon Stewart on the Paris attack

Late-night comedians Conan O'Brien and Jon Stewart briefly and somberly addressed the Charlie Hebdo attacks on their shows Wednesday night, saluting their fellow satirists who were killed in the terror attack.


"This story really hits home for anyone who, day in and day out, mocks political, social and religious figures,” Conan said at the start of the show, reminding Americans that it is not something to be taken for granted




Twelve people, including two police officers, several cartoonists and the editor in chief of the satirical French magazine, were killed on Wednesday. The gunmen are still on the loose. Read more...
