Case in point: this beautiful video of Lake Erie near Ontario, Canada
Photographer and videographer Tim Warris captured the footage on Jan. 16, which he describes as a "very cold day," over the beach and harbor of Port Dover, Ontario. The lake has only recently iced over, shutting down the Lake Effect snow machine.
