Police brutality marchers defy mayor's plea for calm ahead of NYPD funerals

New Yorkers took to Fifth Avenue, one of the city's busiest shopping districts, Tuesday night to once again demand justice for those who have suffered from police brutality, even after Mayor Bill de Blasio asked for them not to do so


Hundreds crowded Fifth Avenue—and continued the march to Harlem—at one point holding a moment of silence at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue and later chanting outside the New York Police Department's 25th precinct building
