What are some tell-tale signs that you are acing a job interview?
Answer below by Quora user Jeff Schaffzin, outbound marketer
In general, it is hard to tell if you are doing well during the interview, but there are a few signs that show you have a better than average chance of being moved forward:
The interviewer asks that you stay longer so you can speak with other individuals that you were not expecting to speak with until later in the process.
The interviewer gives you her/his contact info and asks you to contact her/him at any time should you have any questions.
Similar to the point above, if you send a thank you note and the interviewer responds quickly saying that s/he enjoyed talking with you and looks forward to seeing you in the future, it's a positive sign.
You are asked if you want to take a tour of the building and when the interviewer is stopped to ask who you are, s/he implies that you are going to be the next "xyz" (fill in the job title here). Read more...
